A friend of mine pointed out this document and, in his words, "It has a critical weakness in that it fails to condemn contraception as the source and abettor of every evil it descries. However, it is an important and otherwise very solid, true, strong statement behind [which] we can and should stand." Though I have only skim-read certain sections, I am inclined to agree with his assessment and have "signed" it with the online signature form. I recommend you do the same! That thoughtful people are taking the time to draft such a declaration is definitely a sign of hope.
