I think I am a fairly patient person. I don't mind waiting in line, usually. Sometimes I can even handle the shenanigans of my younger siblings. But sometimes I feel I wish I didn't have to wait to grow up. It's sort of like waiting for one's life to begin, really. It's not that I don't have a life--that's obviously not true--but there are some things I still have to wait for. Among them are my first kiss, my first car, my first date, my first job, my first dance...the list goes on. It is a silly list, I'll own, but still one that fills my imagination constantly. I feel so young and old and crazy all the time. I suppose it's just part of being sixteen.
