One of the worst feelings to have is dissatisfaction, or its brother emotion, disappointment. When you're dissatisfied or disappointed in yourself, it leads to depression, and becomes conducive to wallowing. When you're dissatisfied with others, it makes you grumpy, uncharitable, and obnoxiously self-righteous. The best plan is to suppress disappointment and dissatisfaction as much as possible, because neither of them do any good.
